Lightning-type magic, which originally attacks a single target only, is changed to a wide-area skill when performed in the rain.
For instance, the direction and strength of the wind can change the range of a bow. In TL, environmental factors – such as day and night, or rain and wind – directly affect the gameplay. Certain areas can be only explored by using the movement skills of each animal. Players can transform into animals, specializing in land, water, and air to move around. NCSOFT is developing TL as a console and PC title, which will be released in the second half of this year. TL focuses on the Western medieval concept on Solisium Continent, while Project E takes place on the Eastern medieval Laisak Continent (tentative name). Their stories take place on the same planet but in two different continents. TL and Project E are newly designed original IPs of NCSOFT that share the same worldview.
